Hamed Vahdati Nasab

Hamed Vahdati Nasab, born in 1973 in Tehran, is one of the most prominent researchers in archaeology and prehistoric anthropology in Iran. He began his studies in biology and animal sciences and then focused on archaeology of the Paleolithic and prehistoric anthropology at Arizona State University for his master's and doctoral degrees. After completing his education, Vahdati Nasab underwent two postdoctoral fellowships at the University of Alberta and the University of Oxford, conducting research in bioarchaeology and molecular anthropology. Since 2008, he has been a faculty member in the Archaeology Department at Tarbiat Modares University.
